Parma vs Lazio: Match Preview
Lazio go into Sunday’s fixture at the Stadio Ennio Tardini knowing if they avoid defeat they will re-write the clubs history by becoming the only side to achieve 18 games in Serie A without defeat.
The Biancocelesti have recently haunted Parma, the ducali have lost all of their last six Serie A matches against Lazio, conceding at least two goals in each of these defeats.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Stefan Radu are suspended, whilst Joaquin Correa and Danilo Cataldi are likely to feature from the bench. Lazio will need to be cautious as they have several key players who are one yellow card away from a ban (Luis Alberto, Ciro Immobile, Luiz Felipe and Francesco Acerbi), so could potentially miss out on the key fixture with Inter next week.
Parma have kept a clean sheet in their last two Serie A home games; since last October, Parma has conceded the least goals in home matches of this championship: only four. This will provide the home team with the belief that they can secure something from this game.
Parma have their own share of problems, Andreas Cornelius is out of action along with Roberto Inglese, Luigi Sepe, Dejan Kulusevski, Yann Karamoh and Matteo Scozzarella. Gervinho is in limbo after his January transfer to Qatari club Al-Sadd was caught up in red tape, so Juraj Kucka and Jasmin Kurtic become makeshift forwards with new arrival Gianluca Caprari.
Ionut Radu is likely to make his debut between the sticks, having arrived in January via Inter to fill in for Sepe during his injury lay-off.

Parma vs Lazio: One to Watch
Di Bello (Referee) with Lazio having four key players at risk of missing out on the following fixture against Inter the referee could well have a massive impact on Inzaghi’s substitution and also the biancocelesti’s chances of keeping the heat on at the top of Serie A.
Parma vs Lazio: Top Tip
Late Goals: Lazio (eight) and Parma (six) are the two teams that have scored the most points with goals scored after the 89th minute in Serie A this season.
Parma vs Lazio: Prediction
I am expecting Lazio to control the game with large amounts of possession; Parma have looked most dangerous this season on the counter, through the likes of Cornelius and Kulusevski who are both absent from this fixture.
Lazio may need to rely on Luis Alberto to provide the creative spark or come up with an individual piece of brilliance to open the scoring, I believe he will and Lazio will add to the score late on to come away victorious.
Prediction: Parma 0-2 Lazio
