Lazio face another challenge this weekend in Serie A in the form of Genoa at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. The Biancocelesti have not been able to win over the I Rossoblù in three years away from the Rome.
A brace from Ciro Immobile and Felipe Caicedo inside the first 45 minutes ensured Lazio put the result beyond SPAL, the side from Ferrara showed their fighting spirit by drawing the second half in which Bobby Adekanye scored his debut Serie A goal for Lazio in a compelling 5-1 victory.
Lazio are winless in their last three Serie A away games (D1 L2), they are currently experiencing their worst start to a Serie A campaign since 2013/14, when they finished the season in 9th place. The last time Lazio failed to secure a win across four games was back in March 2016 (six successive draws).
The focus pre-game was around the Irriducibili making fascist salutes as they passed through Glasgow City Centre, which I am sure will be a talking point come Friday morning.
